16 oz pkg ground sausage
2 tbsp water
10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach (thawed and well-drained)
8 oz pkg cream cheese (softened)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
10 oz can diced tomatoes and chiles (drained)
½ cup chopped green onions
½ tsp garlic powder
Brown sausage in a large skillet on medium-high heat for about 10 minutes. Drain grease and return to heat with 2 tbsp water added. Cover and cook about 1 minute.
Stir in remaining ingredients and cook about 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Serve warm with pita bread or tortilla chips.
