Pecan Pie

Prepared pie crust (unbaked)
1 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 oz halved pecans

Preheat oven to 350°.

Lay pecans flat side down in bottom of prepared pie crust.  Mix corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla.  Gently pour mixture over pecans.

Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes.  Cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
